Christmas Hamper Co-ordinators Needed
During the Advent SeasonEvery year we prepare hampers for families who need a bit of a hand to have a festive Christmas. The co-ordinators get names for hamper families from an agency. We as a church adopt children, to buy them age- and gender-appropriate gift. The last Saturday before Christmas we purchase groceries and a turkey and then volunteers drive the hampers to give to the families. It is always very meaningful and an important part of our outreach to the community. We are looking for volunteers to co-ordinate this year.
Soup and Bun Lunch Help Needed
Event is on 22 NovemberWe are looking for someone to co-ordinate the upcoming soup and bun lunch, as well as people to make soup or bring buns and help with setup and takedown.
Advent Adventure

Christmas Caroling
1 and 8 December at 7:00pmThe Outreach Committee will be inviting folks to go out in small groups into the neighborhood to go caroling. We will be giving people an invitation to our Christmas services. Here we go a-wassailing!
Cloverdale Christmas Parade
6 December at 6:00pmThe Outreach Committee is recommending that we enter a float in the Christmas Parade this year. The year that we did, we had more visitors for Christmas than almost any previous year. We have the makings of the float, which can be reconstructed and decorated. We light it up, and then dress in our Christmas pageant costumes, sing Christmas carols and hand out candy canes to the crowd with invitations to the Christmas services.
Lessons and Carols
13 DecemberWe need a good hearty choir to sing for Lessons and Carols and the Christmas services. Contact Susan to join in.
